Hi there! So, I'm Chrissey. You may know me through my sister, Mandy, over at "She Breathes Deeply". She's like the friggin queen of blog-land. I shall never compare. But, she's really inspired me to start a blog about the things I like...Jesus, books, fashion, art, music, coffee.....overweight animals....ya know. The norm. I'm also moving to Europe in the fall so I guess I'll be blogging about that too. And every once and a while, I probably will post a random heartfelt blog about somebody I love or something that's so gooey your computer screen will turn sticky. I apologize for that in advance. Now that I think of it, this is going to be a hot mess of blog-ness. My sister and my mom are always having conversations about "Target blog audiences" and stuff like that but honestly, most of the time halfway through the conversation I zone out and start pretending that my coffee straw is in fact alive, his name is beauregard and he is incredibly angry at me for chewing on his face for the past 30 minutes. Maybe I should have paid more attention to their blog talk. Oh well.

So, I thought I'd kick this sucker off with a list of my 9 current obsessions, mainly because I'm too sleepy to do a heartfelt post about life or anything cheesy like that.

1.
The National's "High Violet". One of the best albums I have ever discovered. I keep falling in love with it over and over again. Not to mention that "England" is my favorite song of all time. For obvious reasons.

2.
Floral Dresses. I just bought one at forever 21 that looks a lot like this, except mine is cuter. Sucks for this chick. I swear, if I could get away with wearing short flowerprint summer dresses every day for the rest of my life, I would.

3.
Iced Coffee with cream and a shot of espresso and coconut. The friggin perfect summer drink.

4.
The photography of Tim Walker. I wonder if he's married...

5.
Chubby nieces. Yes, I bought her that tutu.

This drawing.

Continuing on in my dream to one day look exactly like this lady

The music of Mr. Roy Orbison. You can't help but feel good dancing around your room to "Pretty Woman".

9.
Swing dancing! I totally intend on throwing on some red lipstick and a vintage dress and strutting my stuff this summer!
